I did a lot of moving, so it was a while before I opened it (for the Wii U). Annoying method of exiting major dungeons such as a the Sacred Beasts….well not as bad as they killing that part about making you redo the whole thing a death.
Weapons breaking, people who are into a Weapon, it doesn’t tend to shatter on them. Gun guys, sword guys….it usually follows. Lots of cleaning, and granted, limited use, the desire not to need it. Usually there is a specification on a gun type or melee.
You might improvise with an opponent’s Weapon well, but it will never “be your weapon.”
He can climb anything, use any rune and be proficient in all Weapon…no not all somehow he can’t handle punching or grapple attacks.
No story flow, usually in an LoZ game, your basically told, “dude, you got go to the forest,” “you know to get that Sword…”?
Maybe I got to Koros earlier than some. Frankly there is no order in it.
Somehow clothes are aiding or not your skills or protections…
I’d complain about Final Fantasy style Elemental Boss’ but. nice try.
Towers…is this by Ubisoft? Yes like in a good Watch_Dogs or all ACs there are Map opening Towers.
The Blood Moon, a good tool for re-spawning, but I hate hearing that awful Zelda voice repeat the same thing a hundred times in the game.
The flat typical drama school drop out British voices are crap.
Why is Marble Madness in this?

Really it’s fun in many ways, but not “I waited nearly four or five years for this?” It is the best Assassin’s Creed game I have ever played, not nearly the best LoZ. Which is to the point, this provides a Assassin’s Creed that barely crashes. Wait it hasn’t yet. But nothing that feels like an LoZ. Plus they really made the Koros really fucking creepy, and yet funny.

Must be the longest pre-order ever, and not the best. Frankly wouldn’t suggest it on non-Nintendo games, now that is in question too.

In late 2016, Dark Siders: Warmastered Edtion was announced for the Wii with the others, then it was March 28th 2017, and now it’s Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
I get maybe they’d put it later for one system or another one, hell they all could need differing dates if they differ in any way.
But to promise a date with no explanation why or no update about it even on the facebook page is absurd and terrible business. Why trust Nordic on any other game in the future, weather on PC or another console?
It better have some unique feature to the other versions.

My open order listing:

“Nordic Games Dirtsiders Warmastered Edition Wii U
Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.
CDN$ 19.99
Release date: Tuesday, May 23, 2017”

You are a king, you wander to a town, seems you seek a Sorcerer. This happens to be a Jester, not a reflection on the Comedian The Black Jester, no one is seeking that funny man. Seems he burnt his teachers house and the carnage never ends. Can you get strong enough to face him as he steals power and destroys in his Journey.
Well if that Frog King of yours tells you, you must get that strong.

But the villain may be a Square/Enix who killed the top down, birds eye view. Especially since 9 (Sentinels in the Sky) had the more classic look. Also the street pass thing is pretty sad, not much thought came to it. It’s rather uninspired. Post cards, snap shots and a man with a photographic missions with some good prizes, some, pffff……

But for it’s failing, it does have a rather redeeming story, as I play out a bit earlier. There are two NPCs from PS2 that are now playable and you can up a character’s “Sex Appeal” so as to anger feminist whiners.
Looks like it will have some free download content in the future, although not sure. There is nothing yet.

Save Trodain, buy it for the 3ds.

No Advance Copy, not paid by company to mention (not bad) or to approve of it (bad).

Bandwidth costs money. The Switch from Nintendo offers “First Taste Is Free” online play. Ok.
But a 300 buck system (if you go buy PS4 standards, like the stolen snapshot button) would likely have 100 dollars a year of play you may not play may be more likely victim of DoS attacks by prank hackers.
When if your playing offline games for months?
Honor system may work well, plead that it costs to run servers and all that….ask for 5 dollar donations or more, offering big rewards for big helpers (like with crowd funding). Or a huge cost deduction in the hardware with a standard subscription fee for online services not used to sell downloads.
But frankly your likely to be in a huge financial hole, with the Switch, and think of interest on your card.

Capture button too close to control buttons.
Share the joy, if you got wee little hands….
Sensing technologies, what happened to “just games?”
300 bucks for this?
Fuck Joycons. Does it have to be a live action game (1,2switch).
1,2 Switch. Go outside, get a tennis racket, a deck of cards….
Arms is … not worth talking about.
SMB Oddysey…eh…maybe…
Might cancel the Breath of the Wind pre-order, even as a Wii U. Not sure.
How does Xenoblade 2 look less pretty? Makes one wonder, will they actually figure out
anything?
So far card media and no region locking is all I like completely.
I think their presentation is lacking.
Oh bring EA on the first presentation, way to go.
Ethernet? Who knows?
They crammed too many gimmicks into one thing.
Mobile screen, barely Vita size, barely larger than New 3ds XL/LL. Smaller than Wii U’s.
No dual screen.
No Street Pass?
Recommend: New PC.
A online service fee with Nintendo alone, I get if a year after you buy it the
maker would ask, “want to play online longer” and ask a quarter of it’s original cost
for that multi-play. Servers cost money to run. Even understand it, if it wasn’t a 300 dollar system with a “how they get you.” I rather play one player or in the same room.
Frankly if it gains any popularity it will be getting hacked off all the time anyway.

*Understand does not mean like.

Official Features but no info on what it runs on, the guts aren’t fully released.

Haven’t been so disinterested in a Nintendo System since N64.

If I ever manage to try it, proven wrong, I may change my tune. Doubt it. Also fuck them for only picking Toronto of Canada Cities.

One thing that never yet got questioned was weight. Well recalling taking my Vita around (when I gave a shit about it), even my 3ds Xl (new and old JP one, latter is heavier).
I wonder if the Switch would 1. Need a satchel, 2. be too heavy. This can only be answered by the “advanced copy” people, me I am at the seat of my pants. On personal cost, not going to happen.
Maybe they will do the Van/Truck thing like with the Wii U, but I doubt they’d trust me to put it in my pocket, or anyone. But the Vita and even to a lesser extent XL 3ds and new 3ds can weigh a pocket down a bit.
So the big question is, “is it really portable?” I would seriously doubt it is more portable than a Wii U, in the sense that you bag and satchel everything.
Granted the games will be a chip sized cart so that part is much more portable. Or as portable as a Vita or 3ds Game.
