The exclusion of Wii U as it stands, currently and in appearance, and if wrong and just later, well they should say something. Anyway Arkham Knights, AC Unity, and latest Call of Duty. All excluding one new system, in fact even two of them might not have a release on all but Wii U (this including an XBox 360 or PS3 version). Reason a gamer regardless of choice of system should be pissed about this, is the fact that likely, you were excluded for something with really bad reasons like your choices and tastes. Likely it hurt and you did not like this, well take it out on them then, as a consumer, you have power over those who exclude.
Oddly enough Wii U is the only company out there with a top 3 franchise (beating Assassin’s Creed) and the best 1st party games they only real reason to get a console for a game, yes, the only good reason is 1st party gaming. 3rd Party being sold as a reason is usually just a sign how pathetic Sony and Microsoft are in house now. Worse for MS(XBox) a Software company from the start. Both Sony and Nintendo started with home electronics.
If I am on the bill likely I will have my LL and XLs there to pass with and also record my shots. The Black Jester is the name they should introduce and bill me as.
This Tuesday, 2100 hours at Kino Cafe at 3456 Cambie in Vancouver.
Twice I walked around with two a LL from Japan and XL of US Regional.
Now the first time, each picked up one different street pass. Second time only one got a street pass. So there is a distinct chance you might miss 1/3 to 1/2 of street passers, although I think most that make it linger more in an area. It’s less a pass and more a linger. Course you’ll be lucky if anything crosses a Nintendo Zone that works. Still it is more handy than PSN’s NEAR.
It occurred to me, perhaps in theory, that games could use the HD port, like a faster info access external hard drive dedicated to a game, sort of a reliability in between optical and cartridge tech. I see expandability even to advanced drives optical and card or cart. Who knows, I think Nintendo has a lot of announcements in the future, and some games may have late releases for more than just a awesome controller, but a whole new way of using a non-downloaded game. Games that are like Jewel cases you plug into the USB ports.
*Somehow I think Nintendo is clever enough to rely on expansion by USB and OS Updates to extend the ability of the current system limiting the requirements of a new system too soon. Controllers seem for ever. Be nice to have a P2 screen controller even if a little smaller.
PS3 and XB360 people, think about this.
Think in from the perspective that this is not an exclusive in house signature game for any system. Not SMB or Halo…or Big Daddy’s latest.
May be good for Wii U and PC sales, why stick with the guys grifting you into a new generation system. Right now it’s not Arkham or AC: Unity, it’s a sales pitch for hardware. Imagine how many years back they’d have to know specs of PS4 and XBox1. The agreements to know it that soon. It’s candy and PSN and MS are the weird guy in the Van. Course X Box makers benefit from selling units of Windows 8 too.
Granted 2 cases are Ubisoft/Uplay DLC and WB DLC (after promising it, returned money/credits or not it was offered and sold, false advertising, freeze meant cold shoulder). Capcom and Ultra Street Fighter 4. I suspect there is a bribery associated with Microsoft and Sony that Nintendo won’t lower themselves too, it’s the only possible explanation. After all Nintendo is likely still around because of the adults who played the original NES. They must know this, it’s the inspiration of Virtual Console, I am sure those in charge now started playing the original NES.
Shame Virtual Console hasn’t any Coleco Vision stuff.
