If they were dead set on bleeding people on “DLC”: a Nintendo for “nothing new” then why not offer an openly Classic and Brand New collections rather than hiding this crap knowing refunds are not available?

As it is the track that is the real attraction since Mario and Princess skins are not added characters any more than multi colored Shy Guys and Yoshi. Link is way out of it and cookie prizes and what seems to be Wart’s son and Dream world seem to be the only thing linking Animal Crossing. Oh Bowser just gets a skin, he isn’t a new character.

A while back I learned about this from the creator of Invader Zim, glad I listened to that mad man. It is an artistic and clever game. On Steam. Really need it on Wii U.

Burial at sea was so awesome. well it proved my point, that when the DLC is better than the game (could have stood alone) which makes the game, although with a good narrative about a social extreme until it over does the quantum nonsense and falls into paradox. Basically the DLC makes the game a rip off, as the it would do the DLC (that finishes the prequel or makes it one) if it was better.

Much will elements like a new track or two in Mario Kart 8. If the track is underwhelming it’s a rip. If the track is brilliant why wasn’t it there already?
Could have just released cups that opened on specific dates like a race season for a little fun and have a whole GP score.
Also could have done a lot of things they can pay me for sharing with them in sale share when 9, which they should have worked on rather than DLC. Made the colored Shy Guys and Yoshi with the Merc promo. I don’t know why they didn’t just place a contextually subtle ads on the track. Like TAG Heur counting your race time (not sure why race times aren’t taken in competition as well as trial or why the trials aren’t before each competitive race.

Bayonetta 1/2 will prove so fantastic because they bothered to take care and time. British voice aside, it will be awesome.

A year later may be an acceptable time for DLC to be announced and developed. Although they may still know about it 6 months before that. Also they might as well take that time to work on the sequel. I rather quit buying games I know ahead of time about the DLC, and get pissed I didn’t (like Blazblue’s latest and Kokanoe and Hazama’s Chrono-Clone, MK8). Early unlocks for the unsporting is okay, as long as unlocked gears on the earned trail has some more strength to it.

Fixes, too are okay, no surprise and early (just started it) DLC.

Not okay, at all, things that interfere with Street Pass like maps holding Dread Scroll and Wedding Dress or Multiplayer options (even practicing, like MK8 tracks).

A DLCs, like free mods that place a subtle contextual advert like Mercedes and MK8 is fine. Even be fine if tracks got penzoil ads or timer by Taguer, be nice to close a time at the end of all races, especially as a VR factor. Or in fights with Deathmatches in CoD having partially burnt Coke ads on city streets.

Finding out on Kotaku via their FB Page, that Fantasy Life is going to have day one DLC, bad enough I found out from Nintendo, but I hate DLC, why should I pay about 44 bucks for part of the game and then a few more for the rest. Call it extra all one wants, the information on why they have it, what it is, and if it enhances the game is it worth having the game? If it doesn’t enhance the game, why do they sell it or why buy it?
You can’t take downloads to EB for a credit either, later. So even less value.
Amiibo, yes likely will have an EB credit value at least. If you have an ID in some areas where they think it’s a pawn business, like Vancouver.
Fact these is not asked usually explains politics since the consumer’s tolerance for zero informed consent to too little. Always remember minimal information and slight of hand is marketing. Even the best corporations have dirty little marketing depts.
Up side is Nintendo people seem the least gullible.

Letter to Nintendo Support (Purpose, to learn what we haven’t been told):
I like playing as Black Shy Guy, but, I have my doubts about the pre-ordered 22GB (mentioned after I decided not in the sales pitch) DLC in which the only part I like is a Shy Guy color scheme selection. F-Zero and Link, what do they have to do with Mario? Wanted it to write about it. I figuring I have all I need to know. The fact it costs more than 12ish but that it may cost a whole new external HD at min. sold at TBs at min 100 CDN. No one sold it at the big picture.
This is the story. Is it possible to refund before, not saying I will since the other part, is I can’t play the whole online gambit without it, assuming it runs online, but I am guessing like with Fire Emblem and the Dread Scroll street pass, without you can’t play with the passers. Or in this case holds back the online experience with people who have it and those who do. If it isn’t online too, then it’s also a rip off. Characters and Vehicles aren’t much the tracks (that could have been on the original disk at 5 to 10 bucks more if that) it’s a subtle arm twist for what could have been or could be (in sequel terms). Will corporate admit this? Or is there a better argument to keep it? Why it is enjoyable to more than a short sighten focus group?

Update: Asshole Move Making the Shy Guy and Yoshi Colors (a fix) a DLC pre-order requirement, should be a fix with Mercedes, got this wrong. Sorry. Thought it came along with the 2.0 fixes.

Even on this day Shy Guy Came in Many colors and black, Yoshi too, if you care. But really all but the GLA blow. The only non-Vintage, a 2015 concept car.
It may pay for some server stuff, maybe helped patch up the Shy Guy situation. So why complain who paid for it. Better than the worlds coliding with Link in Car and later Villager (which is as custom as a car really) or Isabelle (who is likely hard to despise like Peach or Wendy when ready to toss a shell). Should have saved that for a sequel subtitled “MK9: Worlds Collide.” But Nintendo did listened about the colors (makes one wonder why a submenu isn’t used for other versions of Mario, Peach, etc…) and even extra tracks (also could be held for a sequel. Come to think of it non-Mario Characters could just be ceremony holders. Lakitu can end his reign of conflict of interest. When did they run out of Mario Characters? Such as Wart, Sniffit, and Mouser. Or even why not make a Hyrule Motorcycle Game and get Motorcycles out of Kart.
Oh be prepared for 11GB space on HD or external HD if you filled too much of the internal memory. 11GB each of the paid for DLCs.
