Yes I yelled this, mostly on the Japanese “Swapdoodle” when the fucking child security popped up. Frankly not a thing is ever blocked on my (Born May 29th 1978, so 38) system. Some how this block leads to a credit card thing, I don’t fucking get it. Didn’t quite have the patience for this 3ds nonsense. New 3ds is similar, it enforces a “child protection” be set up before usage, I am fucking 38. If it said this on box, I would have refused to buy it.
When you sell the Nintendo Switch, put it on the box and sales material, tell them you plan on treating adults lie children.
Go fuck yourself. I am fed up. You could have updated these game systems long ago to reverse the reactionary bullshit. Hillary the video game censormonger lost, your safe in North America at least, but the wave may hit Japan too.
It’s amazing you can sell girls raped in a Van as porn as long as faces are blurred but you can’t refrain from forced “adult protection,” on a game console in Japan?
I say this to vent, and as a matter of consumer fairness to those, if there are any, that don’t have a 3ds considering one. Others already have it, what can they do.

But mostly, if anyone at Nintendo sees this, feel shame, but don’t stab yourself, just fix it in a fucking update.
In fact make adult protection an optional download.

Oh those assholes better improve their contact support and forum connection to my.nintendo….fucking assholes. I hate what has happened to customer service lately, it’s like a fucking Skinner maze.

Besides pushing it to people who are clearly upper class students who likely use protest signs and Tumblr more than console games a few things came to mind.

1. No sign of dual screen usage, certainly not in mobile mode (which propelled the DS success).
2. There are USB plugs in some shots, but no reference can state usage of direct modem linkup (to avoid lag and slowing online), nor does it suggest backward controller compatibility (like Wii U’s Pro Controller, I use it on steam, I like it better than that shitty X-Box).
3. You need more than one with family and room mates as a mobile system not as a standard console. Maybe if price specifics were mentioned earlier this objection would be smaller. But imagine having 2-4 switches at your house and no professional reason to. Especially family, that’s when you don’t let kids have it in their room and you have a game room.
4. The separated controllers, only good for small hands. You see that blonde chick on the reveal? She was be 5’1, I am gigantic. How Fils-Amie would play it, that would be something to see.
5. They made it look like a pretty Vita that Vita people really wanted when the PS Vita’s TV item came out.
6. We only saw style and no substance, you want to excite people, tell people everything, make sure they feel fully informed about their consent to buy when they plan things out.
7. You’d think they would have picked a new Metroid Side Scroller and Mother 3 as a starter game for this system. Rather than a LoZ that looks more like a lit up DarkSider’s game.

The Good thing: Carts. But they could have added a USB drive to Wii U for this.
As for hybrid, and IR device like the Steam Link could have been made for the 3ds.

Well that’s it in a nut shell. Should be a Nintendo Direct to barely answer this and other skeptical problems of shrewd consumers who don’t want to spend money if they don’t have too, even if, like me, they love Nintendo in most cases (not N64, except Wave Race).

*Oddly enough when this site was on Dragon Fire I posted a system like this (late 90s) in support of Carts and hating chrome hand helds, when a Game Gear was around (or Lynx). I thought of how plugging a game gear sized thing into a bay may improve things and run the software on TV. Called it the Matrix at the time, my “Polygon Begone” article was showcased back then.

Hate to bother with rumor mills, but on what is true or what is guessed a few thoughts.

The idea that two systems is great? Well say you want one system open to read miiverse, or your playing more than one game or more than one system (even with 3ds you have people with multiple 3ds, and multiple ACNLs or what have you). I don’t think one can expect the same mult-3ds purchase that you see with the NX, at least not for less than scalping on ebay.
Granted miiverse is browser too, but how often does one use that option or would even at that point? Usually it’s best to get your screen shots that you can’t get easy on the New 3ds now with the hard to get microSD.
Can’t help think they could have ran something that poosts CPU power, and adds cooling to the back of the Wii U or a cart drive or my idea could have been solicited to make it a removable HD port. Still could be wired through Wii U. Who knows. It would be nice to have a dual screen that could move around like the 3ds….sort like a more powerful dual screen Vita with TV connections But I am not sure.

If NX docking also runs a Steam Link on it, man will it destroy. It’s only down side, is like the opening time of the Wii U, it released at a fiscally bad time for customers. Course no one has to get it on day 1.

Power, who cares. Frankly the power of the Wii U was enough but 3rd parties just hated promoting their own stuff, they wanted official bundles for their stuff which only went to 1st and 2nd Party games. 3rd Parties are often terrible at letting you know they have released for the Wii U too. Slightly toned down Graphics occured on the XB too, but who cares. You still get stuck with a bad controller. I like the pad on the Wii U and many other options too. Better experience, and they actually back their hardware up with their own 1Ps. They could make Amiibo more of DLC hard copy delivery system. Anything downloaded isn’t returnable for a credit at EB or anything.

What is needed?
A 2 tier scoring system….
1st board should reward top 4 over all with bonus points.
2nd should count that in and decide team victory/bonus.

Pre-release calculations on how much points it is possible to gain with fully active players or various inactive ones, to catch cheats with out tireless administration.

Give 0 pts to anyone who doesn’t score 100p. Negative points to those who don’t score any. Even I passed out in start of a match, but I’d accept this to deal with all those helping their buds at the other end of team speak get an upper hand because they didn’t end up on the right side.

Best thing, make sure the friend system puts friends on the same side unless there is an over lap.

Another thought is Splat Fest. Run 16 sets of two, and after the 16th, do another 8 of Splatfest with the winners of the 16, then 8 of those go on then 4, then 2 then 1 final.

Perhaps an elimination team scenario too.

Sounds like a score, but despite the idea of syncing attack bonuses with beats in the battle music, it would be a lovely game, maybe as a 3-in-One the first two with no adjustment. Adding street pass application even. The idea of the tap to the music battle bonus is foolish, the most common glitches before and after auto save have been audio related, no digital sound is perfect and records scratch. But the idea of another game employing this Dragon Warrior (Quest now in NA too) 4 method of heroes meeting again is a wonderful thought. It’s an engrossing series. Wonderfully consistent too.

I wouldn’t me one to make rumors, but when I think NX, I think FX (as in chip, or expansion). Now my idea on how it could go, which may ruin this plan, if it was their plan, well I thought a thing up, since it would be “unsolicited idea,” I won’t tell them.
I had the idea of a drive, even with expanded process and graphic side lined and running a dedicated Hard Drive (for the game) cart loading like system. The same possibility, can exist with an optical. Imagine, an optical disk, working through a current system, running it’s own graphic and processor with a loader, small enough to fit mobility and as strong as the game needs to be. Really the rest is just monitor and controls. Even as a HD type or Game Card style.
Devs would be running the required processor control, you could even put OS on such a card bay. Find a way to update removable media, you also have an ability to change things enough to shut out the hackers, and have on-disk/card/cart save states too.
They can always solicit my mind’s eye, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

It’s a nice free fight, after an annoying Tutorial, although Heroes of Ruin had better multiplater communication (course this included a website linked with it and Swapnote), now it’s go on ACNL and discuss a meeting later. The chat is horrible, horrible and no reason to stop “mean language” if wimps and thin skins can just add someone to a block list.
Cecil has no dark Cecil outfit, and not even a FFVI, but too much FFX crap and Sepheroth’s outfit could be tougher and somehow is unisex. Cloud is plain, all but Cecil is female only or should be female only. Squall and Vann look girly and fey. Have not seen Bartz, although I imagine it’s a plain white shirt or he matches your class like he would in FFV and why not Galuf or Tellah? Not sure why Rosa wasn’t there as Girl only outfits. Shame there is no fashion equip, so Seph can go over a worse looking and stronger outfit.
Superficial things aside, it’s a pretty solid game. But Square should have known better with regard to communication, given it’s Heroes of Ruin history and I am not sure why it doesn’t get registered on their site either.

I would ask why FF Dimensions never went to 3DS and why any FF game went off Nintendo, since it’s existence (and all it is now) as a brand is purely Nintendo’s doing. They owe Nintendo, same could be said about Mega Man (Capcom), Dragon Warrior/Quest, etc… Ungreatful. Frankly Nintendo is one of those things, well lets say, you can charge huger prices for Playstation releases to pay for Wii U losses, no, it’s true. These people over paid for a console, what would they care about a game price? Why Ubisoft has no reason to complain when a Wii U AC could have been 50 and 90 on a PS1 or XBOne could be 75.

Added few hours later: Machinist is unfortunate, it’s good, but expected an Edgar like Chainsaw and Bioblaster type.

The good thing is, for starters, it showed the Wii U can do so much they said they couldn’t. SKELL rides are just fun. Co-op Nemesis fights are very good.
More annoyances that occur to me are basic character logic in the mechanics lacking. Like trained fighters willingly running into lava, or not jumping. Yet they fly the SKELL with you. Story mode mixes with the neat fashion wear you chose along side the practical defense gear, but not when you have a run in using your SKELL. There is a heavy over tone of feminist ass kissing with this horrible Samus who is forced into most quests and is mostly useless unlike Mia who comes when she can’t greatly useful despite being so. All that feminist ass kissing does not match the skimpy costumes that end up being stronger than most of the female armor that is heavy and guarding all the skin, despite fashion equip as an option. On one girl who is 13. So it’s pretty disturbing all around in that area, oddly enough that is a more useful character than the forced blonde Reclaimer broad.

Before these hacks, you would rarely see any more than 1, maybe very rarely two in the quadruple digits (sometimes a friend may get asked on Team Speak to get 0p or something, but rarely), basically if two get over 1000 it’s suspicious, if 3 get it the fix is in.
Although usually no one is over 1000 when one guy is at 0. One could claim suspicion when 67% is covered in the short time. Either someone is asked not to fight, or there is a hacking.
