Splatoon 3 is as to Splatoon 2 lesser in story mode and a little different in Salmon Run.
Splatoon 3’s story mode starts with an interesting battle against DJ Octavio and goes on to another disappearance from the clearly stupid Captain Cuttlefish, again…. The first Boss, which happens to be, like the others, a member of the mainstream Media, accurate.
This is the toughest Boss fight you’ll likely encounter. The rest get easier and easier, except maybe 3rd wave of the Ray and perhaps Grizz’s Rocket (just the stage, actually).
Splatoon 2 had a tougher final Stage, and not as long.
Who the hell knows why Salmon run doesn’t stop at the end of this thing I am spoiling, or why the hell Mr. Grizz managed to get Octos to aide him in the ‘Mammal Revolution.’
Salmon Run has fun to it, but seems some rounds do have a easy switch to it from 3, although it may be how the battles are Randomized a bit.
Communication Errors still happen quite a bit.
I swear they recycled a few stages from 2 into the Story Mode.
It’s a toss up, it’s still quite a bit fun with a needlessly huge city area. Guess you can spot my enthusiasm for this game. Not like 2.
It will leave you asking, “Don’t Cephalopods (Squid/Octopus/Cuttlefish) eat Salmon as well?”

Xenoblade 3 is a boring load of garbage.
It’s amazing they are selling a DLC to anyone while the current game is a chore go on in,
the lesser scenery design, the unlikelyhood of it connecting anything, and the fact there are active Nopons that do nothing but talk for some unimportant reason is just the start.
It has characters and story line that isn’t worth caring for, and barely a single side quest.
Oh and top of that the endless tutorializing that you can turn off. Yet the feature doesn’t work.

It sucks!!!!
You will want to blow your brains out if you spend long enough playing it.

It’s alright, but you’d hope for better, giving cost and hype.
- Characters are low, given your looking at 4 character team.
- Cup Elimination, kind of limited, maybe one more flow branch was needed, maybe groups.
- Online has some issues, someone beat me after the clock ran out.
- It’s a cute, mild time waster, at best.

Since Megan Soccer, on Super Nintendo, this type of game has been missing, seems for good reason.
Despite being a cure time waster, this game has little to say about it, little of it positive.
You’d think they could program some other characters like Wart, Shy Guy (multiple colors), Boo, Koopa (Multiple Colors) and so on, given the amount of characters and likely hope that multiple players actually engage it.
The single player cups are ok, but elimination should at least be doubled in branches.
The best part, is it had no first day download.

Not sure about the online cup, it’s on in a few days, I have little in the way of optimism.

It is not worth the cost, and if there is DLC for this, paid DLC, it deserves a major “fuck you!”

Edit: Amusingly enough, Sniffit would have been a useful character here, stuff the ball and fire!

Kirby is sucked by something that pulls harder than his big mouth.
Noticing a new land (The Forgotten Land), and some strange flying creature being nabbed, as well as Waddledees.
In an adventure that looks like he’s being baited to his doom, he chases down a multiworld area to find Waddle Dees, learn some skills and possibly find out what has gone down.
For some stupid reason this thing has an easy mode, no idea why. It’s regular mode seems simple enough, it’s still fun and has it’s points of challenge as you go through, mostly finding things.
The Waddledees make a town as you save them opening up more options.
The thing is adorable and fun avoidance behavior.

So finally got a physical copy of Chocobo GP for the Nintendo Switch, and well who knew it was so mobile in the micro-pay Mythril, Daily Missions (online) and reward factor.
Although it has an amusing story with confusing success standards in the races that don’t hold much consistency. Sometimes you just have to do better than the enemy, sometimes you must win, even know your a whole huge race team vs one enemy.
It’s pretty funny in a simple way.

The Online racing is actually the one place it’s better than Mario Kart, the place it lowballs is the earning of car adjustments, and really if you put GP in the name make it more than 3 laps, no car damage, and no pit crews. Also make it a full course scoring, not just the Mario Kart type cups.
Actually not sure why the story doesn’t follow a point score scenario. Especially with multi-form boss situations.

The controls aren’t great, especially for drift, and most spell/magicite are like blue shells at Lv 2 or more and happen alot, more so in Story Mode.

The Tokyo RPG Factory releases another game with a depressing mood that causes my hippocampus to give out.
Granted there is some rare humor in Oni Naki but it’s rare, it’s like a upbeat Sweedish Suicide Film Festival.
It also establishes a time paradox, I am not terribly fond of those factors.
Similar monsters to I Am Setsuna, except, no Chrono Trigger style battles, but Action RPG type fights. Oddly enough this gets right what a lot of Xenoblade 2 got wrong. All these Blade like Daemons that aide you and basically operate as your weapon-partner, are discovered enroute through your story in night mode or via a lost member of your Watcher community.
Watchers are the characters there to see that the dead stuck on the plane get sent all the way to the other side.
Despite the story events and Daemon Speeches that can go on and be a bit down in tone, most of it is very decent battling and fights, be aware, it’s a dodge and attack sort of this, not a lot of defense.
The best Daemon to look out for uses chains.
It’s a very stable game on the Nintendo Switch, haven’t tried other ports.

The people who brought you the game that made me a pussy for a day, The Blind Prince And The Lying Princess have brought another lovely story, The Cruel King And The Great Hero to the Nintendo Switch, and some things way over powered for this.

There are just as many charming events in this, perhaps more if you take the time reading the side quests, but this one didn’t break me down emotionally like the last game.
It follows a kind young girl being raised by a rough old Dragon who’s courageous defeat at by Hero left him with at the mercy of a hero. This mercy was given, when passed, the dragon took on raising the Girl for him, and because of her desire to be a Hero like her Father, the Dragon was happy to see her to this dream, and not without it’s twists, even when you figure it’s over, no.

Basic turn based battles, up to 2 companions, some needed specifically for side quests. They each may have up to two.
There a few skills to gain, battles, and lots of trinkets. The game is not without it’s strategy and it’s actually possible to wander into parts way over your levels, although you can gain experience pretty well if you don’t run ever.
Side quests release concept art galleries with awarded stars.
Plenty of well illustrated areas to visit.
It crashed on me twice, and some of the scene transitions are slow at times.
A solid game worth playing at any age if it’s not baby sitting anyone. Seriously do not use TVs and Games to baby sit kids.
